Co-Founder & Chair

Danielle Dunfield-Prayero is an accomplished international businesswoman, UK political campaigner, and passionate sportswoman with a proven track record of delivering results and driving collaboration. Combining strategic insight with hands-on leadership, she excels in navigating complex challenges to achieve impactful outcomes.

Danielle's career began in the City of London, where she spent a decade in senior finance roles at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, ING, and CDC IXIS–LCF Rothschild Midcaps, honing her expertise in global finance. She later transitioned to international business development at Skarbek Associates, partnering with British embassies and high commissions to promote UK trade and empower small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to expand globally.

As CEO of The Great Sussex Way, Danielle spearheaded a transformative post-pandemic recovery initiative that revitalised local businesses, boosted footfall, and created jobs. Collaborating with nearly 1,000 companies, she demonstrated her ability to craft innovative, practical solutions that deliver measurable impact.

In 2024, Danielle was the Conservative Party's Parliamentary Candidate for Wimbledon. During the campaign, she joined Medical Life Lines Ukraine's 12th and largest humanitarian mission, delivering seven ambulances packed with critical aid to Lviv—an unforgettable experience that reflects her commitment to making a difference on a global scale and protecting democracy despite its messiness.

Danielle remains dedicated to public service, working alongside Lord McLoughlin, Lord Booth, and Penny Mordaunt to analyse the Conservative Party's unprecedented 2024 electoral defeat—a process continuing under Kemi Badenoch's leadership. She actively supports the Conservative Women's Organisation, Women2Win, and the Conservative Friends of Neurodiversity, championing inclusion and advocating for young people, particularly those with learning differences.

A former Team GB triathlete and two-time World Championships representative, Danielle embodies resilience and determination. Passionate about fostering entrepreneurship, she is committed to helping SMEs invest, innovate, and trade, and to rebuilding trust between the business community and the Conservative Party; hence, Conservatives For Business. Inspired by leaders like Baroness Brady and her father, a pioneering research scientist and entrepreneur, Danielle is driven to create opportunities for the next generation.

Danielle holds two master's degrees—one in social and political sciences from the University of Cambridge and another in business from the University of Bath.

Born in New York and raised in Holland, Danielle brings a global perspective to everything she does. She lives in the UK with her husband, Gordon; their three energetic sons—Oscar, Hugo, and Theo; and their beloved labradoodle, Strider.
